Georg Zachariades (* 1868; † after 1943) was an Austrian entrepreneur of Greek descent and founder of the Vienna automobile factory . In figure skating he started individual skating . He also participated in the work Traces on the Ice from Demeter Diamantidi . Furthermore, before the turn of the century, in addition to his career as a figure skater, he was also a successful cyclist. He celebrated success on the track as well as on the road on both high and low bikes .

Career as an athlete

In 1892 and 1893 Zachariades became German champions in men's figure skating and in 1894 runners-up behind Gustav Hügel . He took part in three European championships and won bronze medals in 1892 behind Eduard Engelmann and Tibor von Földváry and in 1893 behind Eduard Engelmann and Henning Grenander . In 1894 he finished fourth.
