Daniel Weiss (figure skater)

Daniel Weiss (born July 18, 1968 in Ingolstadt , Bavaria ) is a former German figure skater .

biography

Daniel Weiss started figure skating at the age of six. In 1990 and 1991 he was German champion in men's figure skating. He started for the ERC Ingolstadt . His trainer was Karel Fajfr . After the end of his amateur career in 1992, he turned professional and appeared in various shows. He then worked for three years at Eurosport as a sports commentator, after which he switched to ARD as a commentator for standard and Latin dance and figure skating. He also works for the Hessischer Rundfunk . Parallel to his commentary work, he is an event manager and organizes ice shows. He has been with ProSieben since October 2006-Show Stars on Ice as a jury member.
