Peter Krick

Peter Krick (born January 31, 1944 in Nieder-Weisel , Butzbach ) is a former German figure skater and sports official.

Life

From 1966 to 1968. Krick was German figure skating champion of the men . He took part in five European and three world championships from 1961 to 1968 . His best result at European Championships was fifth place in 1965 , his best result at World Championships was eighth, which he achieved in 1967 and 1968 . At his only Olympic Games , 1968 , he was twelfth.

He appeared soon after the end of his active career as an organizer of figure skating events (Secretary General of the Organizing Committee for Figure Skating Munich (OKEM) 1974 to 2001) and is currently (2008) Chair Sports Directorate of the International Ice Skating Union . Until 1999 he was the sports director of the German Ice Skating Union (DEU). His wife Sissy Krick is an ISU judge and was DEU Vice President until 2006. The Krick couple now live in Tutzing .
