Eric Correa
Eric "Bobo" Correa (born August 27, 1968 in Queens , New York City ) is an American percussionist of Latin American descent.
His father was the salsa legend Willie "Bobo" Correa , whose nickname Bobo he later adopted as his own stage name. Before he became a band member in 1993 with Cypress Hill , whom he met on a tour in 1992, he played with the Beastie Boys (1992-96) and the Black Crowes . With the Beastie Boys, Eric Bobo recorded the album Ill Communication in 1994 and then worked as a songwriter on several recordings, for example on the instrumental track Bobo on the Corner .
In 2008 he released his solo album "Meeting of the Minds".
He plays Tama drums with Remo heads.
