Sen Dog (born November 20, 1965 in Havana , Cuba , real name Senen Reyes ) is a Cuban rapper . He is a founding member of the American hip-hop band Cypress Hill .

biography

Sen Dog first grew up in Cuba. When he was six years old, his family left Cuba. They moved to California via Miami and New Jersey . There he grew up in South Gate in Los Angeles County . Together with his brother Mellow Man Ace and his future bandmate B-Real , he discovered the lifestyle in a gang and his passion for hip-hop. There he became a member of a Bloods gang.

Besides Cypress Hill, Sen Dog also has other projects. He founded the Crosso Association SX-10 and was on tour with it. Together with his younger brother Mellow Man Ace, he formed the duo 2006 The Reyes Brothers and runs the label Latin Thug Records . In 2017 he founded the band Powerflo together with Billy Graziadei ( Biohazard ), Roy Lozano ( Downset ), Christian Oldewolbers (x- Fear Factory ) and Fernando Schaefer (Worst) .
