Stoned Raiders ( English for intoxicated robbers / thieves on drugs is) the sixth studio album of American hip-hop group Cypress Hill . It was released on December 3, 2001 on the labels Ruffhouse and Columbia Records .

Guest Posts

Stoned Raiders entered the German charts at number 32 in the 51st calendar week of 2001. In the weeks that followed, the album dropped to positions 33 and 39 before improving to number 27 and the highest position 26. Overall, it stayed in the Top 100 for 15 weeks. In the USA, the album could not match the success of its predecessors: Stoned Raiders only rose to number 64, stayed in the charts for eight weeks and was the first work of the rap group do not achieve a gold award.
The tracks Trouble / Lowrider were released as a double single .

From laut.de the album four out of a possible five points received. The reviewer Eberhard Dobler particularly praises the refrains, which are "one hit after the other in terms of flow and melodies", as well as the production by DJ Muggs, which "just always gets to the point". The mixture of "hip hop and rock numbers" would "go straight into your blood."
