Los Grandes Éxitos en Español ( Spanish for The Greatest Hits in Spanish ) is a compilation album by the US rap group Cypress Hill . The compilation was released on October 18, 1999 on the labels Ruffhouse and Columbia Records . It contains almost exclusively songs from the band's first four studio albums, which were newly recorded in Spanish. In the US, the compilation achieved platinum status for more than 100,000 units sold .

The compilation contains mainly Spanish versions of songs from the band's first four studio albums. The album IV is most strongly represented with four songs. In addition, the track Siempre Peligroso , which is not on any album, and a remix of Latin Lingo as a bonus song are on the best-of.

The compilation entered the German charts at number 50 in the 44th calendar week of 1999. In the following weeks it occupied positions 66, 68 and 95. After four weeks, the album left the top 100.
