Michael Fahmüller
Michael Fahmüller (* 1968 in Simbach am Inn ) is a German politician ( CSU ), and since 2011 District Administrator of the district Rottal-Inn .
Life
Fahmüller is a trained banker and savings bank specialist. During his professional career he was, among other things, deputy head of the Egglham branch and deputy head of the Electronic Banking department.
In addition to his work at the Sparkasse Rottal-Inn , Fahmüller was also politically active. The CSU politician had been a member of Egglham's municipal council since 1996 and had been honorary mayor since 2002, and since 2008 district councilor in the district council of the Rottal-Inn district. There he was chairman of the CSU parliamentary group in the district council in 2009. In 2011 he was elected District Administrator of the Rottal-Inn district with 60.28% of the vote. When he ran for election in 2011, he had promised to limit his term of office to 2.5 years in order to merge district and district council elections again. This should save the district 80 to 90 thousand euros . On March 16, 2014, he ran for election again without opposing candidates and received 94% of the votes.
Fahmüller is married and has two sons.
