Michael Goodliffe (born October 1, 1914 in Bebington , Merseyside , † March 20, 1976 in London ) was a British actor .

Life

Michael Goodliffe was an ensemble member of the Royal Shakespeare Company for several years after his training . His acting career was interrupted by the Second World War, the entire duration of which he spent in military service. From 1946 he was back on stage and from 1948 also appeared in movies. Goodliffe often played officers, but overall remained rather inconspicuous.

Goodliffe committed 1976 suicide .
