Michael Herzig

Michael Herzig (born August 18, 1965 in Bern ) is a Swiss crime writer .

Life

Herzig grew up in the Bernese Mittelland. After graduating from high school, he worked as a music journalist and record seller. He completed a degree in history, constitutional law and political science and has an MBA. From 1998 to 2014 he worked at the Social Department of the City of Zurich, where he headed the Addiction & Drugs division.

The heroine in his crime novel series is the Zurich city police officer Johanna di Napoli.
