Michael Hieronymus Prince Radziwiłł (born October 10, 1744 , † March 28, 1831 ) was a Lithuanian - Polish magnate .

Origin and family environment

Michael Jerome Radziwill came from a Polish magnate sex Lithuanian origin, which on May 22, 1515 Emperor I. Maximilian in the Imperial Prince was raised and which still exists in many lines. He himself came from the Kleck branch and was born as the 3rd son of Prince Martin Nikolaus Radziwiłł (1705–1782), 7th ordinate of Kleck and major rough cutter of Lithuania and his wife Martha Trembicka († 1812). He married Helena Przezdziecka (1753–1831) on April 26, 1771. The marriage resulted in four sons and two daughters, including Anton Radziwiłł (1775–1833), Prussian governor of the Province of Poznan .

Life

Since his goods and the main focus of the Kleck branch were in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania of the Kingdom of Poland, he received the post of Paladin of Vilna from the Polish crown and was thus the holder of a top position in the administration of Lithuania. After the death of his older brother, Prince Josef (1736–1813), the 8th ordinate of Kleck, he would have been entitled to the 9th ordinate. For unknown reasons, he was passed over and the title was given to his eldest son, Prince Ludwig (1773–1830).
