Michael Jahrstorfer

Michael Jahrstorfer (born September 28, 1896 in Marklkofen , † December 15, 1972 in Heidelberg ) was a German chemist and manager of BASF .

Life

Michael Jahrstorfer was born in 1896. He studied at the Technical University of Munich and received his doctorate in 1924 with the dissertation on the solubility of nitrogen oxide in salt solutions: Contributions to the problem of hydration . Jahrstorfer became an employee of IG Farben AG and published several patents . After the Second World War he became director of the Badische Anilin- & Soda-Fabrik AG in Ludwigshafen am Rhein .
