Michael Koller (politician)

Johann Michael Koller (born September 3, 1809 in Lam , Lower Bavaria, † October 18, 1861 in Augsburg ) was a German doctor and member of the state parliament in the Kingdom of Bavaria.

Life

Koller received his doctorate in Munich in 1832 and was then a doctor in Freystadt, among other places . In 1844 he was succeeded by Dr. Johann Wilhelm Schmelcher was appointed regional court doctor in Beilngries , where he established himself as major and commander of the local Landwehr battalion in 1849. In 1851 Koller moved to the position of a district and city court physician in Augsburg.

In electoral period 8 (1849–1855) Koller was a member of the state parliament for the Eichstätt / Mfr district. and served on several committees.

Koller was made an honorary citizen of the city of Beilngries in 1851 and was awarded the Order of Merit of St. Michael I Class by the Bavarian King .
