Michael Lang (politician)
Michael Lang (born September 10, 1965 in Mössingen ) has been Lord Mayor of the city of Wangen im Allgäu since 2001 .
Life
After graduating from high school in Mössingen in 1985, Lang completed a degree at the University of Public Administration and Finance in Ludwigsburg and became a graduate in administration. He then worked for a year at the Mössingen city administration and then studied law at the University of Tübingen . He is a fully qualified lawyer. From 1997 to 1999 he was the head of the building law office of the district of Göppingen , until 2000 a consultant in the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of the Interior and then personal consultant to the regional president of the Tübingen regional council, Hubert Wicker . In 2001, the non-party Lang succeeded Jörg Leist as Lord MayorElected by Wangen im Allgäu , re-elected in 2009 and 2017.
