Michael Lindenberg

Michael Lindenberg (* 1954 ) is a German sociologist , criminologist and social worker . He holds a professorship at the Protestant University of Applied Sciences for Social Work and Diakonie des Rauhen Haus in Hamburg .

Live and act

Lindenberg began his professional career as a concrete worker, but then switched to the social sector. At first he worked as an unskilled worker in nursing and later studied social work. He then worked for several years in child and youth welfare.

He later studied sociology and criminology with a focus on deviant behavior and then began his scientific career.

Lindenberg is one of the critics of closed home accommodation . He was one of the first public critics of the situation in the facilities of Haasenburg GmbH .
