Michael Lippert (lawyer)

Michael R. Lippert (born September 22, 1943 in Vienna ) is a German lawyer and ministerial official .

Life

Lippert studied law at the universities in Munich , Bonn and Würzburg . In 1968 he passed the first state examination and in 1973 the second state examination. In 1972 he was at the University of Würzburg in Günther Küchenhoff with the dissertation topic appointment and dismissal of heads of government and their functional significance for the parliamentary system of government to a doctor of law doctorate .

Lippert was initially a research associate at the University of Würzburg. After entering the public service, he worked in administration and justice, first as a research assistant at the Federal Administrative Court , then as an official in the Federal Chancellery and at the Federal Government's Press and Information Office . From November 20, 1990 to autumn 1994, he was State Secretary in the Thuringian Ministry of the Interior under the ministers Willibald Böck and Franz Schuster .

After leaving the administration, Lippert worked for an energy company in Bonn from 1995 to 2000. Since 2000 he has been practicing as a lawyer in Erfurt . In addition to his professional activity, he is an honorary professor at the Law Faculty of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena and director of the Institute for Energy Law there.
