Michael Lurz

Michael Georg Lurz (born February 24, 1851 in Herrnmühle ; † after 1903) was a customs officer and member of the German Reichstag .

Life

Lurz attended the Latin school in Hassfurt from 1862 to 1866 and the humanistic grammar school in Münnerstadt until 1870. He studied law at the University of Munich (1870–71) and the Technical University of Munich from 1871 to 1873. Between 1873 and 1875 he was a customs intern in Lindau , Munich, Landshut and Würzburg . In 1875 he became a customs assistant in Würzburg, in 1876 a customs assistant in Bamberg and in 1880 a secondary customs inspector in Kempten . In 1882 he became the main customs office official in Regensburg, 1887 Customs Invoice Commissioner at the General Directorate of Customs and Taxes in Munich, 1888 Main Customs Office Controller in Würzburg and 1895 Main Customs Office Administrator in Furth im Wald .

From 1898 to 1903 he was a member of the German Reichstag for the constituency of Lower Franconia 6 (Würzburg) and the German Center Party .
