Michael Marcus (actor)

Michael Marcus Morgan is an English actor. He achieved greater fame as the actor who played Henry Tudor in the British television series The White Queen (2013). He also played major supporting roles in The Medicus (2013) and The Discovery of Infinity (2014).

Career

In 2011, Marcus played the role of Peter , an avid comic book reader with visions of the future, in two episodes of the third season of Misfits .

He later played a role in the ten-part historical drama the BBC The White Queen , the (partial) film adaptation of a novel series of Philippa Gregory's "The Cousin war" from the year 2013. Marcus, the role of Henry Tudor is, the pretender to the throne of the House of Lancaster who founded the Tudor dynasty .

In early April 2014 it was announced that Marcus would take on the lead role of Valentine in the production of The Two Gentlemen of Verona by the Royal Shakespeare Company . Marcus himself described the character of his role as a man "who somehow seems to run away from something instead of towards something. But I think [he] tries to convince himself that what he wants is in Milan and not at home." is ".
