Michael "Mike" Nell (born February 5, 1984 in Calgary ) is a former Canadian ski jumper and Nordic combined athlete .

Before Nell, who started for the Altius Nordic Ski Club, became active as a ski jumper, he took part in three races in the B-World Cup of Nordic Combined in 2002. However, he did not achieve any success. Then he started only in his stronger discipline, ski jumping. At the Junior World Championships 2002 in Schonach he reached the 45th place on the normal hill. After the Junior World Championship, he started in the Ski Jumping Continental Cup . He achieved his best individual result on September 22nd, 2002 on his home hill in Calgary with the 6th place. In the following three years he reached no more top placements. He ended his career with the start at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin . He was eliminated in jumping from the normal hill as 50th and from the large hill as 49th in the qualification. In the team competition, he and Gregory Baxter , Stefan Read and Graeme Gorham reached 15th and penultimate place in front of the team from China.
