Michael Olczyk (born March 8, 1997 in Dorsten ) is a Polish - German football player . He is currently under contract with the Polish second division club Olimpia Grudziądz . Olczyk can be used both in defense and in midfield .

Club career

Beginnings

The son of Polish immigrants started playing soccer at RW Dorsten in 2003. In 2007 he switched to FC Schalke 04 . There he went through all the youth departments. In 2016 he moved into the squad of Schalke's U-23 , but only made two appearances in the West Regional Football League .

Olimpia Grudziądz

In July 2017, Olczyk moved to Olimpia Grudziądz , who play in the 1st division , the second division in Poland. There he received a one-year contract. He made his professional debut in the away game against Zagłębie Sosnowiec on July 29, 2017, the first matchday. As a right full-back, he was used for the full playing time and his team won 0: 1.

National team

From the U-17 he went through all junior teams in Poland. He is currently in the U-20 squad .
