Michael Reinartz
Michael F. Reinartz (born October 12, 1939 in Vienna ) was the founder / publisher of the German-language editions of the Gault-Millau restaurant guide .
Life
From 1982 to 1985 he was editor of the edition for Switzerland (publisher: Ringier AG , Zurich), 1983 to 1985 for Germany ( Heyne Verlag , Munich) and 1980 to 2005 for Austria.
In 2011 Reinartz was sentenced to a fine for tax evasion. In 2013 the fine was reduced.

- 1990: Silver Medal for Services to the Republic of Austria
- 1998: Steinfeder Prize
- 1999: Award of the professional title of professor by the Federal President with resolution of November 8, 1999, Zl.701.073 / 118-BEV / 1999
- 2000: Gold medal for services to the federal state of Lower Austria
