Michael Riley (born February 4, 1962 in London , Ontario ) is a Canadian actor.

life and career

Michael Riley was born in London, Ontario and spent most of his childhood there. When he attended Lord Elgin High School , he became interested in an acting career. He later graduated from the National Theater School in Montreal , Canada, and graduated in 1984. His first appearance was in the film No Man's Land (1987). Finally, he made his first notable appearance in the miniseries Chasing Rainbows (1988).

From 1998 to 2000 he played the role of a Brett Parker in Game of Power . He has appeared in an estimated 40 films and television series to date, including This is Wonderland (2004-2006), for which he received the Gemini Award , and the BBC's Emmy-nominated coproduction, Supervulkan (2005) . He also played a leading role on the CBC Being Erica series (2009-2011). In addition, he spoke the title character in the animated series Ace Lightning (2002-2004). Michael Riley has received a total of 5 awards and 12 nominations.

In addition to his engagement as a film actor, he was also active in the theater. In 1988 he was nominated for the Dora Mavor Moore Award for his role in the play "Nothing is Holy" .
