The scientist Dr. Kessler observes a dramatic increase in sunspots . As a result, he prophesies a new ice age on earth. In fact, California then experienced a sudden drop in temperature: it began to snow in the middle of May; and New York is already covered with a meter-high blanket of snow. In the US government's crisis team, Dr. Kessler switched on via video conference. He recommends the immediate evacuation of the United States population to equatorial areas.
Dr. Kessler wants to take his car to a naval base north of Malibu , where a ship that goes to Guam is supposed to wait . Only selected personalities, such as B.
