Michael Ritter

Michael Ritter (born September 28, 1967 in Vienna ) is an Austrian literary scholar and publishing director at Praesens Verlag .

Life

Ritter completed a degree in German , history and Italian at the University of Vienna , which he completed with a master's degree. He later did a PhD .

Ritter worked together with Herbert Zeman on the publication of Nikolaus Lenau's works. He also acted as editor of the Lenau yearbook from 1995 to 2002 .

Since taking over Edition Praesens, founded in 1989 by Peter Ernst, Ritter has been primarily active as an editor and publisher since 2002.
