Anton von Bek

Anton Bek , von Bek since 1854 , (born July 20, 1807 in Ulm , † December 25, 1887 in Stuttgart ) was a German lawyer and politician .

Life

Born the son of a senior judicial auditor, Anton Bek studied law in Tübingen after attending the Latin school and grammar school in Ulm . During his studies in 1825 he became a member of the Germania / Feuerreiter Tübingen fraternity . After his graduation he became court actuary in Ulm in 1833, in 1838 unskilled laborer at the court for the Danube district in Ulm, in 1839 chief judicial assessor and in 1843 first public prosecutor in Tübingen, before he became chief judicial officer in Stuttgart . As a member of parliament from 1851 to 1855, he was a member of the second chamber of the Württemberg state parliament for the Sulz am Neckar constituency . In 1854 he was senior tribunal advisor in Ulm, in 1858 in Stuttgart and in 1871 he was then senior tribunal director there. In 1875 he became a member, in 1876 President of the Württemberg State Court, in 1879 President of the Senate of the Stuttgart Higher Regional Court . In 1884 he retired.
