Michael Sen

Michael Sen (* 1968 in Korschenbroich ) is a German manager . From April 2017 to March 2020 he was a member of the Managing Board of Siemens AG.

Life and professional history

Sen completed an apprenticeship at Siemens AG in Berlin and then studied business administration at the Technical University in Berlin . After completing his studies in 1996, Sen took on various operational and strategic project and management tasks in the corporate planning and development and finance departments at the Siemens site in Munich . In 2003 he took over the position of Chief Financial Officer in the Solutions division and a year later for the Applications & Solutions division. From 2005 to 2007, Sen took over the Strategy Transformation department and then held the position of Head of Investor Relations for one year . In 2009 Sen became Chief Financial Officer for the Healthcare Sector in Erlangen .

In 2015, Sen moved to the E.ON SE energy group as Chief Financial Officer . In April 2017 he moved back to Siemens AG and became a member of the Executive Board. He resigned from this office in March 2020.

Michael Sen is married and has one son.
