Michael Zaglmair (born December 7, 1987 ) is an Austrian football player .
life and career
Zaglmair began his career at Union Lembach from Lembach im Mühlkreis in Upper Austria . As a teenager he then played in the youth team of the major Upper Austrian club LASK . In 2003 the then young goalkeeper played in the first team of the Linz regional league club FC Blau-Weiß Linz . In 2005 he switched back to LASK and was initially the second goalkeeper. In 2007 he made his debut in the top Austrian division of the Bundesliga on matchday 16 . Zaglmair played in the 4: 4 draw between SK Rapid Wien and LASK.
On May 12, 2010, LASK announced that it would no longer extend the Upper Austrian's contract for the coming season. From January 2011 Zaglmair was under contract with SV Horn in the Regionalliga Ost, after he was previously without a club. After a knee injury, however, he had to end his active career and has been a goalkeeping coach at the football school of SSV Jahn Regensburg since 2013 .
Internationally, Zaglmair took part in the U-19 European Championship 2006 , where he was eliminated with Austria in the semi-finals. A year later he played at the U-20 World Cup in 2007 , where he surprisingly landed fourth with Austria as the regular goalkeeper. He played four of the seven games. Zaglmair's cousin is Swiss national player Bernt Haas .
