Michaela Hofmann (born May 17, 1979 in Berlin ; née Seiffert ) is a German handball trainer and a former handball player .

The 1.75 m tall back player was under contract with Bundesliga club HSG Blomberg-Lippe from 2008 . After the then captain became pregnant in June 2012, she ended her career. In the 2013/14 season she coached the second HSG Blomberg-Lippe team, which competed in the third division . She was also active in promoting young talent.

The business administration graduate played three games (five goals) for the German national team . She made her international debut on February 19, 1999 against Poland in Marpingen.
