Kaiser first began with alpine skiing . At the age of 13 she discovered grass skiing for herself and, in addition to her schooling at the Wiener Neustadt commercial academy, began with more intensive training. At the end of the 1980s, she managed to catch up with the Austrian top and completed her first European Cup races . At the European Junior Championships in 1989 she won silver twice in slalom and in combination and in 1990 she won another silver medal in Super-G at the Junior World Championships in her home town of Gutenstein . She won her first junior world title in 1991 in Lanzo d'Intelvi in the Super-G and in 1992 she had three more titles in Kálnica in slalom, super-G and combined.
In 1991 the Lower Austrian won the silver medal in the Super-G at the World Championships in Bursa behind the German Katja Krey and she became Austrian champion in slalom. Two further national titles followed in 1992 in giant slalom and 1996 in super-G. At the 1993 World Championships in Asiago she won bronze in slalom and super-G and thus silver in combination. In the 1994 season she finished fifth in the overall European Cup.
In the next few years Kaiser finished her studies at the Pedagogical Academy in Baden and she began teaching at the ski school in Lilienfeld . As a result, she was able to spend less time doing sports, which was also reflected in the results. Although she continued to achieve good results and was able to classify six times in the top ten at the World Championships in 1995 , 1997 and 1999 , she did not make it into the medal ranks. After the 2000 season, in which she finished eighth in the overall World Cup , Kaiser ended her career.
