Michal Hanek (born September 18, 1980 in Trenčín ) is a Slovak football player .

Athletic career

Hanek began his career at TTS Trenčín before joining the youth team at FC Nitra . In 1998 he joined the first team at MFK Dubnica . In January 2003 the defender went to Russia for FK Dynamo Moscow . After two years at Dynamo, he moved to AC Sparta Prague in the Czech Republic . In October 2006 he returned to Slovakia and went to ŠK Slovan Bratislava . In 2009 he was able to celebrate the Slovak championship title. He then played one season at 1. FC Tatran Prešov . From 2010 to January 2012 he was under contract in Poland with Polonia Bytom and Zagłębie Lubin . From January to the summer of 2012 he was the Bundesliga relegation in Austria the Kapfenberger SV under contract. After relegation he moved to Hungary to Diósgyőri VTK .

Internationally, he has played 14 times for Slovakia so far .
