Michal Zamir
Michal Zamir ( Hebrew מיכל זמיר; * 1964 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli writer . She is the daughter of Zvi Zamir , the former director of the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad .
Life
Her first work was published in 2004. In her novel Das Mädchenschiff , published in 2005 and praised by Israeli critics , she describes the service of a young woman in the Israeli army as a time of constant humiliation and existential harassment. In her novel Die Siedlung , she describes how the founding generation of Israel is being ousted by a new economic elite that no longer knows any ideals.
