The magazine of the Bergisches Geschichtsverein is a series of publications by the Bergisches Geschichtsverein that has been published every two years since 1863 and deals with the history and local history of the Bergisches Land and especially of the Wuppertal .

The authors include well-known regional researchers such as Wilhelm Crecelius , Anton Fahne , Wilhelm Engels and Otto Schell . In the series, research results and scientific articles (treatises and miscommunication ), book reviews and information from the Bergisches Geschichtsverein and its local departments appear. An issue usually has a length of 400 to 500 pages. The hundredth volume was published in 2006.
