Michel Bodmer

Michel Bodmer (born May 28, 1958 ) is a Swiss television editor , presenter , film critic and translator.

Life

After a type B Matura , Bodmer studied English , German and comparative literature from 1977 to 1985 . Then he started working as a translator. From 1986 he became a film critic and has since published in Annabelle , Neue Zürcher Zeitung , Swiss Radio DRS and Weltwoche , among others . In 1987 he began working as a temporary assistant in the film editorial team for Swiss television , in 1988 he was editor of the television game for three years and in 1991 he became a permanent member of the film editorial team. From August 1994 Bodmer moderated the program «Delikatessen», a series of programs in which films are shown and background information is provided. In 2001 Bodmer became editor-in-chief for film, in 2004 editor-in-chief for film and series.
