Michel Pierre Marie Mouïsse

Michel Pierre Marie Mouïsse (born October 31, 1939 in Mazamet ) is a French clergyman and bishop emeritus of Périgueux .

Life

Michel Mouïsse was ordained a priest on December 18, 1966 .

On March 10, 2000, Pope John Paul II appointed him auxiliary bishop in Grenoble and titular bishop of Lambaesis . The episcopal ordination donated him the Bishop of Grenoble, Louis Dufaux , on May 7th of the same year; Co- consecrators were Émile Marcus PSS , Archbishop of Toulouse , and Georges Pontier , Bishop of La Rochelle .

On March 5, 2004 he was appointed Bishop of Périgueux and on May 2 of the same year he was appointed to the office.

Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation on June 18, 2014.
