Michel Schlien (born March 5, 1992 ) is a German volleyball and beach volleyball player .

Career

Schlien began his career in the hall in 2006 at TSV Buxtehude -Altkloster. Later he was active with double play at VC Olympia Hamburg. From there he moved to the then second division club SVG Lüneburg . With the club, he made it to the Bundesliga in 2014. In the 2014/15 season, the SVG reached the DVV Cup final and the playoff semifinals with Schlien . A year later, the North Germans reached the semi-finals in the cup and the playoffs . In 2019 the cup final was reached again. The 2015 final against VfB Friedrichshafen , which the SVG Lüneburg lost, was reissued.

Schlien has been active in beach volleyball since 2009. In 2010 he played with Tamme Witte u. a. at the German U19 and U20 championships. In 2011 he competed with Fabian Schmidt at the U20 European Championships in Tel Aviv . In 2012 he played a few tournaments with Lorenz Schümann . In 2015 and 2016 he formed a duo with Finn Schwarmann .
