Michelle Suat Li (born May 19, 1987 in Singapore ) is a high jumper from Singapore.

Athletic career

Michelle Suat Li gained her first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2006 in Macau , where she finished fourth with 1.80 m. She then took part in the Asian Games in Doha for the first time and was ninth there with 1.75 m. In 2007 she reached eighth place at the Asian Championships in Amman with 1.70 m and did not cross any height in the qualification of the Summer Universiade in Bangkok . Two years later she took part again in the Asian Championships in Guangzhou and jumped 1.70 m to twelfth place.

In 2015, she won the bronze medal at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore with 1.81 m behind Wanida Boonwan from Thailand and Phạm Thị Diễm from Vietnam. The following year she was fourth at the Indoor Asian Championships in Doha with 1.75 m and in 2017 she won the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur with 1.83 m. In 2018 she again took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta , where she finished seventh with 1.75 m. The following year she was tenth at the Asian Championships in Doha with a height of 1.70 m and finished fifth in December at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas with 1.75 m.
