Michiel van Musscher
Michiel van Musscher (* around 1643 in Rotterdam ; † June 20, 1705 in Amsterdam ) was a Dutch engraver and old master of the Baroque . He is considered a student of Gabriël Metsu , Adriaen van Ostade and Abraham Lambertsz. van den Tempel . He worked in Rotterdam, but from around 1678 mainly in Amsterdam.
His works can be found in various well-known Dutch museums, including the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam , the Mauritshuis in The Hague and the Boijmans Van Beuningen Museum in Rotterdam, but also in the Oskar Reinhart Museum in Winterthur .
