Michiel van den Bos

Michiel van den Bos (pseudonyms: MCA and Mike Boss ; born May 23, 1975 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch musician and producer .

life and work

He currently produces primarily for Epic Games and Triumph Studios . He began composing pieces on the Commodore 64 and Amiga and then also produced titles for commercial video games such as Unreal , Unreal Tournament , Deus Ex , and the Overlord series. He recently wrote newer titles for Age of Wonders: Planetfall .

In an interview, Van den Bos cited LTJ Bukem , John Williams , Jerry Goldsmith , Martin Galway , Underworld , Rob Hubbard , Jeroen Tel , Ben Daglish , Carcass , At the Gates , Insomnium , PFM and Artemis as the main inspirations.

Van den Bos is active as an indie / alternative DJ .
