Mickey Grimes

Mickey Grimes (born October 10, 1976 ) is a retired American sprinter .

In 2001 he was part of the US quartet that took first place in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the World Athletics Championships in Edmonton and was subsequently disqualified for doping by Tim Montgomery .

At the Pan American Games in 2003 in Santo Domingo, he came over 100 m and in the 4-by-100-meter relay in first place, but was disqualified and cautioned for taking ephedrine .

In 2004 he was fourth over 60 m at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Budapest .

On May 25, 2004, he was tested positive for norandrosterone in a doping control and was then banned for two years.
