The Micou Point is a headland on the west coast of the Antarctic Ross Island . It is 11 km northeast of Cape Royd and marks the northern end of Maumee Bight in Wohlschlag Bay .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named them in 1993 after Petty Officer Benjamin W. Micou (1957-1992) of the United States Navy , who was killed on October 13, 1992 when a helicopter crashed near this headland.
