MicroMega

MicroMega is an Italian magazine for philosophy, politics, culture and science. The magazine appears every two months with a circulation of 15,000 copies by the newspaper publisher Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso . The editor is the philosopher Paolo Flores d'Arcais , who founded MicroMega in 1986 together with Giorgio Ruffolo.

Content orientation and contributors

MicroMega is an important organ of the Italian left. The publisher Paolo Flores d'Arcais developed the magazine into a platform for the intellectual opposition to Silvio Berlusconi . Important Italian contributors are the journalist Marco Travaglio , the philosophers Gianni Vattimo and Massimo Cacciari , the writers Andrea Camilleri , Lidia Ravera and Erri De Luca . Fernando Savater , Judith Butler , Zygmunt Bauman , Noam Chomsky , Marc Augé and Adam Michnik wrote and write for the magazine .
