Midwest is located in the northeastern heart of Wyoming at 1,487 meters above sea level, on the edge of the Great Plains . The place is on Wyoming Highway 387 , just a few miles east of Interstate 25 . The area is dominated by the oil industry, according to the company, Midwest has the largest light oil production field in the world.
