Mie Enggrob Højlund (born October 24, 1997 in Voldum ) is a Danish handball player who belongs to the squad of the Danish national team.
Career
Mie Højlund played in the youth department of Randers HK from 2013 . From 2014, the back player was part of the squad of Randers' first division team. She won the Danish Cup with Randers HK in 2016. She has been under contract with league rivals Odense Håndbold since summer 2017 .
Højlund initially played for the Danish youth and junior national team. With these teams she took part in the U-18 World Cup in 2014 , in the U-19 European Championship in 2015 and in the U-20 World Cup in 2016 . With Denmark she won the bronze medal at the U-18 World Cup in 2014, the gold medal at the U-19 European Championship in 2015 and the gold medal at the U-20 World Cup in 2016. On October 7, 2016, she made her debut for the Danish national team . Højlund took part in the 2018 European Championship in France.
