history

The spots Lehe enlarged to 1900 in the range Twischkamp (a Kamp between ( twischen ) fields) near the port road , the Rickmersstraße and Kaiser ports .

The four-storey, plastered residential and commercial buildings with the pronounced round corner formation on Batteriestraße / Bütteler Straße through a turret with an octagonal pointed roof are the typical representatives of the buildings of this time at the turn of the century. Four differentiated oriels and three gables are part of the design of the houses. The client was the local building contractor Reinhard Rebstock (1863–1955).
The architect Dardat has u. a. also designed the listed residential building Goethestrasse No. 60 in Lehe.

The Battery Street , in the east a residential street, has its name from a previous battery of coastal artillery of the Weser fort Brinkamahof of 1867 and 1875, to which it led.
