The Ernst Gottlieb Hoffmann rental villa is located in the Niederlößnitz district of the Saxon city of Radebeul , at Heinrichstrasse 1. The building was built by the Lößnitz master builders, the Ziller brothers, in 1895 based on a design by the old Radebeul architect Carl Käfer .

The two-storey, under monument protection standing villa rental is traufständig aligned with four window axes to Henry Street.

The plastered building in the Swiss style stands on a quarry stone base, it has a far overhanging, slate-covered hip roof . In the street view there is a three-storey risalit with a rafter gable in the middle . In front of this is a wooden, glazed veranda with an exit on top. On the top floor, a balcony , with a wooden parapet similar to the one on the floor below, hangs in front of the street facade. There is an entrance porch at the back of the house.

The building is cornices broken, the windows of jambs framed. In the street view there are over these arches made of brick and with a keystone.

history

The Niederlößnitz nursery owner Ernst Gottlieb Hoffmann had the architect Carl Käfer design a rental villa for him in 1895 , which was realized by the Ziller brothers' company that same year .

In 1900 the application was made to build a dairy cure facility, but this was officially rejected because 12 dairy cows were to be housed in the adjoining building. Instead, however, a stable for three horses was approved so that carriage and load rides could be carried out. Its revision took place in July 1901.
