Mighty Moshin 'Emo Rangers is a short series produced since 2005 that is broadcast on MTV UK . The series is a parody of the hit series Power Rangers , which turns against the emo subculture and makes fun of it. The series is directed by Chris Phillips and Nick Pittom, who both live in Essex / England . The theme song Go, go! Emo Rangers comes from the British post-hardcore band Fei Comodo .

History of origin

The Mighty Moshin 'Emo Rangers were originally intended as a fun project whose videos were uploaded to online video platforms such as YouTube , MyVideo and MySpace . In 2006, MTV UK became aware of the parody and has been broadcasting the short series ever since. The series has also been running on the US MTV broadcaster since late 2006.

Phillips and Pittom have also been planning a DVD release of the series for a long time. A date for the release of the DVD has already been set.

Contract with MTV

In September 2006, MTV bought five episodes of the series and a Christmas special, which were broadcast on MTV and MTV2 . The series was filmed in Chelmsford, UK .

The series became a huge success. Which prompted the producers to shoot a second season. However, these were not realized until four years later. Compared to the first season, the new season includes more episodes and visual effects that make the show look more professional.

Video game
