Miguel Poiares Maduro
Luís Miguel Poiares Pessoa Maduro (born January 3, 1967 in Coimbra ) is a Portuguese lawyer and politician.
Maduro was Advocate General at the European Court of Justice from 2003 to 2009 . Later he was Head of the Global Governance Program and Professor of Rights at the European University Institute in Florence. In 2011 he was an advisor to the presidential candidate Aníbal Cavaco Silva . From April 13, 2013 to October 30, 2015, he was Minister and Minister for Parliamentary Affairs and Regional Development ( Ministro Adjunto e dos Assuntos Parlamentares e do Desenvolvimento Regional ) in the 1st cabinet of Passos Coelho .
