Mihály Iváncsik (born July 9, 1959 in Máriapócs ) is a former Hungarian handball player who was mostly used on the right wing .

The 1.80 m tall and 80 kg left-hander when he was active began his career in Nyírbátor . In 1980 he moved to Győri Rába ETO, with whom he won the Hungarian championship in 1987, 1989 and 1990 and the cup in 1985, 1986 and 1987. He was also successful internationally. In 1986 he triumphed in the IHF Cup . Because of his good performance, he was voted Hungary's handball player of the year in 1989. After fourteen years in Győr, he played two years in Graz and two more in Günzburg . After his return to Hungary he ran for Dunaferr SE and Tatabánya KC . He then let his career end at lower-class clubs before finally ending his career in 2009.

With the Hungarian national team Mihály Iváncsik won the silver medal at the 1986 World Cup . Two years later, he narrowly missed a medal at the Olympic Games in Seoul and finished fourth. With 31 goals he was one of the top scorers of the tournament. At the 1990 World Cup he finished sixth and seventh at the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona. Between 1984 and 1992 Iváncsik played 169 international matches , in which he scored 623 goals.

His sons Gergő , Tamás and Ádám also play handball professionally.
