Mikaela Hoover (born July 12, 1984 in Colbert , Washington ) is an American actress .

life and career

Mikaela Hoover was born in the city of Colbert, Washington State , the oldest of four children. She is partly of Spanish-Italian-Persian descent. After school she was accepted for the theater program at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and later successfully completed this with a bachelor's degree.

Hoover has been an actress since 2006. She mainly took on guest roles in series such as How I Met Your Mother , Anger Management or Two and a Half Men . In 2008 she played a recurring role as Madison Westerbrook on the series Sorority Forever .

In 2014 she played a small role in James Gunn's superhero film Guardians of the Galaxy . After Super - Shut Up, Crime! from 2010 this was the second collaboration with the director. In 2016 she starred again in the James Gunn film The Belko Experiment .
