Mike Montgomery
Mike Montgomery (born February 27, 1947 in Long Beach , California ) is an American basketball coach . Since 2004 he has coached the Golden State Warriors team in the US professional league NBA . He previously coached the NCAA college league for 18 years . At the University of Montana , Montgomery began his coaching career in 1978 . He worked there until 1986 when he took over the coaching position at Stanford University . He coached the Stanford team until 2004, when he accepted the Warriors' offer. His overall record as a college coach is 547–244.
